WMS  Framework

Work Management System (WMS) is a Safety tool to ensure that the work is properly controlled, coordinated, and communicated.

It takes a holistic and robust approach to:

  1. Job safety analysis inclusive of formal risk assessment
  2. Energy isolation
  3. Permit to work
  4. Temporary defeat
  5. Simultaneous operations

Key Objectives
  1. One Set of system procedure for ADNOC Group Companies
  2. Harmonizes terminologies
  3. Process of communication and enforcing the lessons learned across theorganization becomes simplified and effective.
  4. Familiarity of the contractors on a single system working for across ADNOCGroup Companies.
  5. The increased ability to move core personnel around ADNOC GroupCompanies becomes free from system limitations.

Scope

  1. This document shall be applicable to all ADNOC group companies,employees, contractors, facilities (including interface areas), activities andservices without exception.
  2. Contractors shall be responsible for ensuring that all activities performedwithin ADNOC operating facilities in the course of carrying out their contractual requirements are managed in accordance with the requirements of this document.
Key Roles and Responsibilities ADNOC Group HSE, SVP
  1. Review and approve WMS Standards and Revisions.
  2. Ensure Tier 3 Audits of the WMS are conducted
  3. Review and approve requests for necessary changes or deviations fromWMS standards.
Each Group Company shall maintain an up-to-date and approved
list of the personnel authorized as signatories in the PTW System

Group Company CEO
  1. Authorize and appoint Asset Owners for all respective sites/ facilities.
  2. Group Company VP-HSE
  3. Provide or facilitate advice on all aspects of the WMS Standards.
  4. Conduct Tier 2 audit of WMS Standards.
  5. Endorse request for required deviations from the WMS Standards.
Group Company VPO/ Asset Owner
  1. Ensure effective implementation and compliance to WMS
  2. Ensure sufficient manning levels
  3. Ensure a comprehensive training programme
  4. Appoint authorized persons in writing
  5. Appoint Asset Approval Authority (AAA)
  6. Ensure the planning and administration of WMS is properly coordinated
